The Waits in an alternative guise are frequently to be heard in Widcombe playing in support of the Widcombe Mummers.

A number of the Waits musicians enjoy themselves around December playing for ‘village’ carol-singing sessions in pubs in Bradford-on-Avon. Even the rehearsals are enjoyable! Find out more here:

Waits founder, Ian Gilchrist, also enjoys playing with Pilgarlic dance band and with the Pipley dance band.

Waits members Chris Timson and Anne Gregson are two members of the close harmony English singers group, Eagle Alley.

Anne Gregson as composer and player also leads a group of five musicians called the Fiery Dragon Company.
