Waits with young guest in the Mayor of Bath’s Parlour

The Bath City Jubilee Waits are pleased to acknowledge the patronage of the Mayor of Bath.

There are Waits in many towns and cities of the UK and places beyond, each with its own particular style of music-making.

You may be interested to hear what we sound like or find out what it is like to play our sort of tunes. If so, you would be most welcome at one of the fortnightly English music sessions held on Monday evenings at the Swan in Bradford-on-Avon. More information about these sessions including dates can be found at English Music Played Here.

The Waits in an alternative guise are frequently to be heard in Widcombe playing in support of the Widcombe Mummers.

A number of the Waits musicians also join in with the village carol-singing sessions in pubs in Bradford-on-Avon.

During December, the Waits enjoy performing in Holy Trinity Church in Bradford-on-Avon during its Christmas Tree Festival.

Mask-wearing was mandatory on this occasion!
